What? I'm confused. Didn't the Bulls just agree to trade Salmons to the Bucks? Now they're being all vague about it and saying nothing is being announced tonight and "the deal could be expanded." Meanwhile,
Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Rockets have recruited the Kings as a third team in a deal that would send Tracy McGrady to the Bulls, and Miller, Thomas, and Salmons to the Kings. First of all, why would the Kings want to do that, considering they just traded those guys less than a year ago? Second of all, since the Bucks deal hasn't been officially announced/finalized, are the Bulls considering this? Did this just come out of the woodwork? Is it even smart to consider, since giving up Miller will be incredibly costly based on how he's playing and Noah being hurt and assuming Thomas gets traded. Who does that leave us with on the front line--Gibson and Richard? If I were the Bulls, I might just stick to the deal with the Bucks...but we're talking about Tracy McGrady here.
At this point...I don't know what's going on. No one will probably know for sure until mid-afternoon tomorrow. I don't how official the Bucks deal is, nor whether the Bulls can or are remotely considering backing out of it for this alleged McGrady deal. The drama is killing me though...stay tuned...
