Oh yeah. Forgot to mention the fact that the Bulls beat the Knicks on back to back nights of a home-to-home. In my opinion, one of the hardest feats to accomplish, but this Knicks team is awful. I'm exhausted from all this trade talk, so very brief recap here. Knicks shot a bajillion threes in the first half and had a lead, and then stopped making them in the second half and the Bulls started executing. And Taj Gibson played like a beast grabbing 16 boards (11 offensive) and 14 points. Derrick and Deng played terrific which is becoming the standard. And Brad Miller's 21 points and 10 rebounds certainly didn't hurt. It really is no wonder why the Bulls didn't want to give up Miller in addition to Salmons and Tyrus Thomas in a 3-way deal that would land them McGrady. I know I know...it's McGrady, but he's still a half-season rental and a risk for the remainder of the season because no one has seen him play in forever. Bulls looking good, even though they were shorthanded minus one John Salmons (and of course Noah). Good start to the second half...and I take special joy in beating the hated Knicks (on back to back nights, in both ours and their arena).
14 hours till the trade deadline...brace yourself.
